Plastic Injection Molding Expertise

What is Plastic Injection Molding?

Plastic injection molding is the most common manufacturing process for producing various sized parts from plastic materials which are selected based on the strength and function required for the final part. A very versatile and economical material, plastic allows for various configurations, color combinations and sizes at a low cost per part.

The plastic injection molding process involves granulated plastic pellets to be funneled into a heated barrel, mixed until melted and pressed into a steel or aluminum mold, or die, where it cools and hardens into a specifically designed configuration.
